THE IMPACT OF SOLID CHRISTIAN THEOLOGY ON SOCIETIES NATIONALLY AND INTERNATIONALLY

I have been asked to speak about “the impact of solid Christian theology on societies nationally and internationally.”

But what is “solid Christian Theology?”  

How does it impact societies nationally and internationally?  

This is very different from the question of how solid theology might impact peoples’ souls, faith and ultimate search for purpose - since societal and international impact might well be quite irrelevant to such questions.  

As posed, the question raises the perennially troublesome interface between faith and politics. The problem is that conceptions of ‘solid Christian theology’ change substantially from era to era - from place to place - and from theologian to theologian.
