Disabled and Disadvantaged Children

The channeling of funds to organisations that care for disabled and disadvantaged children

South Africa’s children living with disabilities are often at the end of the queue when funding is required to meet their special needs. The assistance that the Foundation channels to them can significantly improve the quality of their lives.

The Foundation raises funds - primarily overseas - that it channels to:

It monitors the implementation of projects on behalf of donors.

The Foundation has succeeded in channeling more than one million rand to these charities. It has helped to purchase a bus for the Alta du Toit School and has helped to fund special training programmes for deaf and blind children; and has sponsored the maintenance of several children with profound intellectual disabilities at the Woodside Special Care Centre who are wards of court without any family to care for them.

The Foundation needs R 1 000 000 (±USD 150 000) per annum for this project.
