Thamsanqa Lucky Tshunungwa (2021)
Lucky is a Research, Media and Communications specialist with more than 5 years experience. Prior to joining FW de Klerk Foundation he worked for the Democratic Alliance in the Western Cape Provincial Parliament as senior Researcher and Media Officer. Lucky also has experience working in various Transport and Public Works, Human Settlements and Finance, Economic and Tourism portfolios. Lucky’s research interests include socio economic issues in the SADC region, indigenous healing in South Africa as well as LGBTIQ+ Activism.
Khumotso Ramaite (2021)
Khumotso graduated from the University of Venda with a degree in International Relations and Honours in Political Studies. He recently completed his Masters in Political Studies at the same institution. Khumotso joined the Foundation looking to contribute to fostering better relations within society through coherent, constructive and transparent discussions and debates on government policies, as well as other political and Constitutional issues in contemporary South Africa. In his relaxed moments, he reads and enjoys cricket and rugby.
Almero Prinsloo (2021)
Almero attended Wynberg Boys High School in 2015 and thereafter pursued studies in International Relations at Stellenbosch University. At Stellenbosch he joined the United Nations Association of South Africa (UNASA) and served as an Executive Member thereof in 2017. In 2016 he earned the title of best speaker at the national UNASA Model United Nations in Pretoria and in 2017 led a team to participate in the global Model UN competition in New York at United Nations Headquarters. In 2019 he contributed to the Young Diplomats Forum in Brussels to discuss pertinent global issues and share South Africa’s experience transition form apartheid to a constitutional democratic state. Almero believes in compassionate leadership as an agent of change and to live life holistically.
